Dr. Haleh Bakshandeh is a Board Certified Dermatologist who provides personalized, high-quality skin care to her patients. She received her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine with Research Distinction and completed her residency there in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery earning an award for Excellence in Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Bakshandeh is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a member of such prestigious organizations as The American Academy of Dermatology, The Women’s Dermatologic Society, and The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She provides comprehensive care for the skin, hair, and nails, specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She welcomes patients ten years and older of all ethnic backgrounds. She can provide dermatology care fluently in English, Spanish, and Farsi. While her main focus is clinical care, Dr. Bakshandeh frequently participates in free skin cancer screenings and is involved in dermatology research. Her articles have appeared in several peer-reviewed medical journals, and she has presented her research at local and national society meetings.
